Mi Reflejo and other Spanish-language works
Hi guys! I'm magiciandude from WikiProject Latin music. Since her Spanish-language falls under the Latin music project and I'm somewhat fluent in Spanish, I can help out if you'd like. Just let me know on my talk page. Erick (talk) 06:16, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
- Alright, so I think I got everything on the album covered. All it needs now is a quick cleanup/copy-edit and it should be good to go for GAN. I want to thinka WikiRedactor, 11JORN, and Status for helping out. Erick (talk) 02:59, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
Several files nominated for deletion
Hey guys! I'm Manuel; today, when I logged in, I got a notification that the screenshot of the "Beautiful" music video that I uploaded a couple of years ago, has been nominated for deletion. The same person who nominated it, also added the screenshot files of "You Lost Me", "Lady Marmalade", "Pero Me Acuerdo de Tí", and "Falsas Esperanzas", to the Files for Deletion list. I already replied to the nomination of the "Beautiful" screenshot, stating why I think the file should be kept. I thought some of you would like to join the discussion for these files. Here is the files for deletion list. Glosoli87 (talk) 01:42, 29 April 2013 (UTC).
Nobody Wants to Be Lonely
@AngelOfDestiny: @WikiRedactor: Hi! I am the creator of Wikipedia:WikiProject Ricky Martin. I wanted to start working on "Nobody Wants to Be Lonely"'s article to prepare and nominate it for GA status soon. Some of my recent GA articles are "The Cup of Life", "Livin' la Vida Loca", "She Bangs", and "Vente Pa' Ca". I have also nominated "Fiebre (Ricky Martin song)", "No Se Me Quita", and "María (Ricky Martin song)", and they are in queue to be reviewed. Since "Nobody Wants to Be Lonely" is also one of Martin's biggest hits and is really a nice duet, soon I will probably work on its article too. So if anyone here is interested to contribute, we can work on it together and I would appreciate it. Regards. آرمین هویدایی (talk) 22:22, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
User script to detect unreliable sources
I have (with the help of others) made a small user script to detect and highlight various links to unreliable sources and predatory journals. Some of you may already be familiar with it, given it is currently the 39th most imported script on Wikipedia. The idea is that it takes something like
- John Smith "Article of things" Deprecated.com. Accessed 2020-02-14. (
John Smith "[https://www.deprecated.com/article Article of things]" ''Deprecated.com''. Accessed 2020-02-14.
)
and turns it into something like
- John Smith "Article of things" Deprecated.com. Accessed 2020-02-14.
It will work on a variety of links, including those from {{cite web}}, {{cite journal}} and {{doi}}.
The script is mostly based on WP:RSPSOURCES, WP:NPPSG and WP:CITEWATCH and a good dose of common sense. I'm always expanding coverage and tweaking the script's logic, so general feedback and suggestions to expand coverage to other unreliable sources are always welcomed.
Do note that this is not a script to be mindlessly used, and several caveats apply. Details and instructions are available at User:Headbomb/unreliable. Questions, comments and requests can be made at User talk:Headbomb/unreliable.
