I have to call hypocrisy and double standard here. If they are going to allow your comments to stand when you failed to put up direct references even though we are talking about stuff that was seen happen on the show, then it cuts both ways and I expect the same amount of latitude when I do the same; and expect even more when I put up stuff that can be substantiated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Whippletheduck (talkcontribs) 03:57, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Amanda

I just wanted to tell you that I think you're doing a good job with Amanda's article. If you ever finish or get some spare time, could you maybe give the other characters (besides Jigsaw, he's safe) a look just in case a certain someone tries to AFD them again?--CyberGhostface (talk) 15:55, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Amanda Young in robe.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 13:00, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:9956774 gal-1-.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:9956774 gal-1-.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:43, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Response

The current consensus on wikipedia is that just being on Survivor (unless you are a winner) is not enough because all of their notability is Survivor, so anything on their page would just be a retelling of what is on the page for their season. So in other words, someone like JP Calderon who did absolutely nothing on Survivor just squeaks through. I really don't have the time to go on a huge anti-Survivor deletion nomination rampage, so I've just been nominating them one at a time when I have the chance. I think right now most of our articles are up to standards, but if you really do want to nominate an article, I suggest Twila Tanner or Rafe Judkins (although it did survivor an afd a year ago). -- Scorpion0422 17:43, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if you want to try nominating it for deletion, then go here and follow the instructions. -- Scorpion0422 18:20, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Saw traps

I have a copy at User:CyberGhostface/Sandbox.--CyberGhostface (talk) 20:08, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Saw characters

Yeah, I suppose you're right. I'd go over it with darkwarriorblake first though, as it was his idea. Maybe we could trim off some of the minor characters as well so it doesn't become too bloated.--CyberGhostface (talk) 21:43, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Because..

It had nothing in it that couldn't fit in two paragraphs. He did nothing special enough to warrant an article and everything in there short of the deleted scene info (which isn't particularly pertinent) is just typing out of the entire plot involving him. Its pointless, superfluous and I didn't delete it, I redirected it.Darkwarriorblake (talk) 22:46, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE:List of Saw characters.

I actually agree. Perhaps have characters listed by film they appeared in, not counting such things as the photos from Saw V, then list the other characters by like "several films", but then have John, Amanda, and Hoffman in their own "villains" type section. Example:

*=="Villains"== *Amanda Young *John Kramer *Mark Hoffman *==Saw== *Detective Tapp *==Saw II== *Xavier *==Saw III== *Lynn's boyfriend (can't remember his name) *==Saw IV== *Medical examiner *==Saw V== *(Any of the elaborate trap characters) ==Recurring== *Eric Matthews *Adam Faulkner

Now, granted, these are just rough examples. But do you think this format may work? --HELLØ ŦHERE 00:00, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I realize it doesn't look good in the "no wiki" format. I apologize. --HELLØ ŦHERE 00:02, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I didn't necessarily mean "villain", I was just using the first word that came to mind. And I think I read someone else's post that said something about how people may want to read about events from Saw, but then accidentally read events from Saw V. But whatever gets decided, I'll help. --HELLØ ŦHERE 00:27, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for telling me to see the end credits, I looked for that today when I went to see Saw V for the second time(I usually see a movie only once in theater, this is a first time for me to see a movie twice in theater). However, I still think that a citation should be put in, since not everyone who comes across the name will think to look to the edid summaries in order to find out that his first name is in the end credits. I will put in a citation that shows that this is his last name. Please do NOT delete it, as it is a USEFUL citation(I've had problems with stubborn people deleting useful edits I made to an article that helped explain or prove something). Thanks for your cooperation. Kagome 77 (talk) 23:49, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yea it's ok with me. I'm not like some snobby jerks on here that take off every citation and say that it is not needed lol. Kagome 77 (talk) 18:24, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Saw V, Cast section.

Are you talking about how they're mentioned of who is from what film? Because I don't personally like that. --HELLØ ŦHERE 21:26, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I very much agree. If you want, I'll change it and add a notice? --HELLØ ŦHERE 21:33, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Saw: Rebirth

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Saw: Rebirth. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Saw: Rebirth. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:11, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
