I have been known as "trollboy" since the early 90's, its a size joke and Dungeons and Dragons reference. Its usage predates, according to the wikipedia entry of Troll (Internet), its popular usage as a pejorative of disruptive people. Its the username to help beta-test gmail (from before invite begging was en vogue) and I can point you to two books that mention me by name specifically. I can photograph and scan years of convention attendee/volunteer/exhibitor badges that say no other name than "trollboy". I am sorry if this name offends you, however I've no intention of changing it. If it is a issue with wikipedia where such a username is illegal, then I shall simply not contribute to wikipedia any more... the logic of course being lack of motivation to help an organization with such policies. I'll just go back to what I was doing before I became a wikipedia user, most of which involved regenerating 3hp per meelee round sans for fire, magic and acid damage of course.

Also quoting from the usernames page: There are four kinds of usernames that are specifically disallowed:

• Misleading usernames imply relevant, misleading things about the contributor. The types of names which can be misleading are too numerous to list, but definitely include usernames that imply you are in a position of authority over Wikipedia, usernames that impersonate other people, usernames that imply you are a returning user, or usernames which can be confusing within the Wikipedia signature format, such as usernames which resemble IP addresses or timestamps.
• Promotional usernames are used to promote an existing company, organization, group (including non-profit organizations), website, or product on Wikipedia.
• Offensive usernames are those that offend other contributors, making harmonious editing difficult or impossible.
• Disruptive usernames include outright trolling or personal attacks, include profanities or otherwise show a clear intent to disrupt Wikipedia.

• Unless someone's assuming that I'm actually a nordic monster, it doesn't violate the firstpart.
• There isn't a troll industries so far as I know and I've no relationship with them if they do, so there goes the second part
• I don't believe the word "troll" to be offensive... so so much for that
• Frankly disruptive and offensive pretty much have the same definition here.

This is because there are several vandals that use "troll" with the intentions to vandalise. If you have no intentions to vandalise, ignore the warning.
