Citations in lede sections

You might want to consider using {{citation needed lead}} rather than {{citation needed}} when tagging lede sections. This, of course, assumes you've determined that the article does not actually support the statement made there. Follow-up reading would be MOS:LEDE, specifically MOS:LEDECITE.
