England cricket players

I believe you need to edit the pages of 3 England Cricketers, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, and Zac Crawley. Joe Root has no information on his record breaking year of 2021, the ashes or the West Indies. He needs to have his page updated and I think if you keep deleting pieces of work by other people, then why not edit the, yourselves and not keeping a monopoly over it. Jonny Bairstow has not had anything on the summer of 2021 or the West Indies, his page is very good at large amounts of detail but recently there has been nothing about his career from 2020 to now except a piece on the ashes. Zac Crawley has not had anything, even about his double hundred and no real information since his international call up and since he returned to the team in the ashes and scored this century in the first test. I think information needs to be added. Certainly Root and Bairstow’s pages are incredibly detailed and to have no sort of information on the recent years is appalling. I know that you are clearly a very intelligent man, and the way you word things are incredible, so I think you would be clearly the best option to write these pages! Thank you for when/if you read this Yours faithfully, A fellow cricket lover 81.109.134.123 (talk) 16:19, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have a monopoly, and would happily leave in text that is both properly sourced and uses decent grammar. Spike 'em (talk) 20:07, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and also adheres to WP:NOTDIARY (meaning not every single match/innings should be mentioned)Spike 'em (talk) 20:08, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I just think you could edit them

Could you them edit them, as if you delete the work, and work to be left completely unmentioned like a whole year, I just feel that you could type up this massive gap in knowledge. I’m not insulting you, and I think you make good points but these pages have been left to go to reck and ruin. Thanks Yours faithfully A fellow cricket lover 81.109.134.123 (talk) 20:17, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

For info

Hi Spike - hope you're well. Following the recent edits at Ben Stokes' article, you might be interested in this thread. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 07:33, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, spotted that yesterday! Spike 'em (talk) 09:18, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove information based on what YOUR THOUGHTS are.

Information icon Hi There! It seems as if you removed information on the article Evin Lewis based on your own opinion to think if it was significant to add or not. Please be mindful in the future not to edit or remove information on Wikipedia based on opinions of self.

nonsense, it is trivial information and me removing it is no more personal judgement than you adding it. Spike 'em (talk) 19:26, 22 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also see WP:BRD, you have boldly added content, I have reverted, now we discuss its merits. Spike 'em (talk) 22:05, 22 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
So pleading guilty to charges and violating codes are not a big deal to you? GujaratiHistoryinDNA (talk) 00:45, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
What code am I violating? You added content to an article and I reverted it, which is perfectly valid. This is a content dispute, so we need to resolve it by rational discussion, and I've started a section on the article talk page to do so. Spike 'em (talk) 07:06, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You are not understanding my point here. The information I ADDED INCLUDED THAT EVIN LEWIS pleaded guilty to charges and he violated codes after that, NOT YOU!
That information was not regarding you, it was specifically about Evin Lewis himself. GujaratiHistoryinDNA (talk) 17:25, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Evin Lewis violated the code not you. That information was removed by you. I never said you violated the code. GujaratiHistoryinDNA (talk) 17:25, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, sorry for that misunderstanding. My point about not having a Controversy section for 1 relatively minor incident stands: add a 1 line report about it in the appropriate place. Spike 'em (talk) 17:44, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Would you?

Hi @Spike 'em:, Would you please change or remove your edits? Which you have done on this. Thank you! Fade258 (talk) 07:54, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, but seems a bit late for that now. Spike 'em (talk) 08:11, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for fighting against francophile POV-pusher

Thanks for all your reverts of edits made by francophile POV-pusher Portugaltheo20 (talk · contribs), who has now been indeffed as a sock of AlanCity20. Undoing the damage he caused was practically a full-time job for a couple days for me, as well. Cheers, Mathglot (talk) 21:40, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Suppression

Hey, just as an FYI, anything regarding the topic you posted on my talk page about should be suppressed, not just revdel'd. It's one of the few things that will be a guaranteed suppression in an article. If you come across something like that in the future, I'd follow the instructions at WP:OS and request suppression that way rather than bringing more attention to it by posting on an admins talk page. I've gone ahead and suppressed the revisions now. TonyBallioni (talk) 22:52, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the guidance, I'll use that in future if I come across anything similar. I thought the content was just someone being an idiot rather than a genuine accusation, but I'll be more discrete in future. Spike 'em (talk) 10:13, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
