Information icon Hello, I'm Mélencron. I noticed that you recently removed content from 2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Mélencron (talk) 04:22, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to 2020 Republican Party presidential primaries, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Notice

The article Eastman character from the Walking Dead has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Plot summary for an episode of a TV programme (?) with no references whatsoever. Wikipedia does not do stand-alone plot summaries AFAIK. On these bases, this article should be deleted.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Disambiguation link notification for May 5

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Here's Not Here, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Eastman (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:06, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

June 2019

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Charles Lee (general), without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. QueerFilmNerdtalk 03:34, 22 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

In addition the word revolutionary should not be capitalised in John Ingram (revolutionary). CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 23:23, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

JOSH TV moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, JOSH TV, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Notice

The article Juan Fischer has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. -KAP03 (Talk • Contributions • Email) 22:37, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not introduce inappropriate pages, such as Barbara Martinez, to Wikipedia. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

PoliticalJunkie2006 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

While I have made mistakes on Wikipedia, many of them weren't conscious. I only vaguely understood Wikipedia, not knowing what a "sandbox page" was, so I would often create public pages that would be accused of vandalism. Despite the mistakes, I believe everyone on Wikipedia deserves a second chance for their account's blockage. And in the event I were to be unblocked, I would not make the same mistakes as before.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 10:44, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

PoliticalJunkie2006 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I didn't understand the full context of Wikipedia; I didn't know what a "Sandbox" was, so I didn't fully understand that what I would write in a Wikipedia page, could by viewed by anyone. This block is no longer necessary, as, now that I understand the full consequences of my actions, I will not vandalize pages anymore. At the age of 14 years old, I am passionately interested in politics, and enjoy educating Wikipedia users about politics. I never meant to cause any harm to my favorite website. Thank you.

Decline reason:

What's up with Mateo Fischer (talk · contribs)? You have any other vandalism-only accounts that we need to know about? NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:39, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

NinjaRobotPirate (talk · contribs), Mateo Fischer was a temporary account I used, as I had forgotten the password for my main account. It was not a vandalism-only account, I've never had any vandalism-only accounts. So, with all do respect, you're statement was judgmental.

I took a look through the contributions from Mateo Fischer, which are public. They solely consisted of vandalism. As you have tried to mislead us, this will significantly count against any future unblock request. --Yamla (talk) 10:22, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yamla I have no intention of misleading you. I immediately acknowledged the vandalism and mistakes I made on Wikipedia. Mateo Fischer was a temporary account I used after I had forgotten the password for PoliticalJunkie2006. It was at the time that I was vandalizing, so that's why you see consistent vandalism on Mateo Fischer. I don't mean to spam you over this matter, but I've stated countless times that I regret the things I did and have no reason to continue doing them. I've learned a lesson from this that isn't being acknowledged.
