Who, me?

Thanks for the shout-out, there, Mike, but in fact, I had nothing to do with any reference in the Jaerock Lee article.Kelisi (talk) 17:18, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! The edits I'm looking at are these. You changed the reference invocation <ref name="Wolgan Joongang(Monthly Joongang Magazine)" /> to <ref name="Wolgan Joongang (Monthly Joongang Magazine)" /> by adding a space between "gang" and "(Monthly". The extra space caused the reference invocation to no longer match the reference definition, which caused an undefined reference error and placed the topic in the Category:Pages with broken reference names error tracking category. My fix uses a much shorter -- but more importantly, matching -- anchor name for both the reference definition and its invocations. -- Mikeblas (talk) 17:28, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Foreign relations of Israel, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 19:06, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Lennon's Imagine single certified platinum in Brazil in 2024

Hello Mikeblas,

if you look at https://pro-musicabr.org.br/home/certificados/?busca_artista=John+Lennon&busca_tipo_produto=SINGLE&busca_tipo_certificado=&busca_pela_gravadora=&busca_ano= you can note that the single "Imagine" has been certified Platinum in Brazil (disco de platina) in 2024. I am not at ease with the references so if you could improve mine I would be grateful. Carlo Colussi (talk) 23:53, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have again reverted your edit, since it re-installs an error. The URL you've provided doesn't load for me. I'd be happy to help, if you can provide a viable reference. -- Mikeblas (talk) 23:58, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Mikeblas,

indeed this Web page, https://pro-musicabr.org.br/home/certificados/?busca_artista=John+Lennon&busca_tipo_produto=SINGLE&busca_tipo_certificado=&busca_pela_gravadora=&busca_ano=, is not accessible from each laptop (my friend couldn't access this Website on his laptop). I made a screenshot (that I called "Imagine, only John Lennon single certified in Brazil (in 2024).png") of the page but uploading files in Wikipedia seems to me very restrictive : when I tried to upload this file it read as "I attest that I own the copyright on this file, and agree to irrevocably release this file to Wikimedia Commons ...". I don't know what this rule implies : this file is not supposed to be a part of the Wikipedia encyclopedia but deleted as soon as you've got a look at it. What do you think ? May I upload this file ? Carlo Colussi (talk) 17:52, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A screenshot isn't a viable reference. I was able to get a copy of the page at your URL from the Wayback machine, and added a reference using that archive. Now, the article is properly referenced for this certification. -- Mikeblas (talk) 19:40, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Code smell

Hi

Why did you remove most of the body of the code smell article? It was well written, concise and on topic. I read your comment in article history and it's does not justify the change. 2001:4479:6500:800:AC7C:7D78:9D67:151 (talk) 07:08, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The material I removed in this edit was largely original research and synthesis. It had been tagged for original research concerns for more than two years. In contradiction to the referenced definition at the beginning of the article, it also presented code smells as a direct problem, rather than an indication that some usage should be investigated or validated for a possible problem. -- Mikeblas (talk) 16:44, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Firozabad district: re-adding removed content

Hi @Mikeblas, I made an edit back in November to the Firozabad district article which you partially reverted because of bad referencing. I figured out what the problem was (I had accidentally copy-pasted the wrong reference the first time I meant to cite the 2011 census, leaving subsequent references to that document stranded) and went back and re-added the removed content with the references fixed (actually I technically did that back in December and then put off pressing "submit" for several months).

Anyway, the whole reason I bring this up is because I wanted to run this all by you and make sure you're OK with me re-adding this content -- I don't want to revert what you did if you have any objection to it. Feel free to remove it again if there's still a problem with the referencing or the content itself.

Thanks,

Looks good. Thanks for the fix! -- Mikeblas (talk) 14:29, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

El Señor de los Cielos

I'm not sure why you are saying there is an undefined reference on the page. The reference was on the production section of the page and I used WP:REFNAME for the lead section. I have switched it around so the reference is now on the lead section and the named reference is in the production section, if that was the issue you were having. Telenovelafan215 (talk) 16:13, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm saying there's an undefined reference because in in this edit, you introduced a reference named "S9Estreno" without previously defining it. That adds the page to the Category:Pages with reference errors error tracking table. Looks like your reversion actually corrected the reference name, even though you didn't indicate making a fix in the edit summary. -- Mikeblas (talk) 16:21, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
