Thanks

Thanks for correcting the ref parameters in the Penang Island article. It must have slipped my attention. hundenvonPG (talk) 00:08, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

reference error

Sorry about and thanks for fixing that reference error. AndrešŸš 22:41, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Happy to help. Refs get really confusing, and I wish there was an easier way for it all. -- Mikeblas (talk) 22:53, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've got it down to a fairly good routine with the visual editor cite tool, ReFill, and Citation bot. However, in this case, I was copying a reference from another page but I accidentally didn't really copy it. Thanks for cleaning it up. AndrešŸš 23:01, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Part of the trouble is that these tools have bugs and limitations of their own, and can cause problems even if used correctly. -- Mikeblas (talk) 23:05, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

1948 Arabā€“Israeli War

I have no idea why you pinged me in this edit summary. At the time I commented that ref out, it was not in use as seen here. Whoever added the content back with that LDR, didn't check their work and created the new ref error. Thanks. Isaidnoway (talk) 17:04, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome! Glad I could help fix the article. -- Mikeblas (talk) 17:11, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No need to ping me, when you're fixing somebody else's ref error that they created. Isaidnoway (talk) 05:49, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, sorry -- it looked to me like you had commented-away an in-use reference. Tracking down referencing errors gets pretty involved, and I occasionally make a mistake identifying the root cause. I'm glad you were able to verify my fix, tho. -- Mikeblas (talk) 16:46, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
