Reference error?

Hello! Looking at tihs version, I see that the footnotes made with {{sfn|Shahbazi|1986|...}} all report an error: "sfn error: no target: CITEREFShahbazi1986". Looks like the {{Encyclopaedia Iranica}} template creates a different reference anchor than the article previously used, so all those footnotes became broken. If the EI template gives a better reference (and was that the motivation for changing to it?) then it might be a better fix to use {{sfn|EIr|...}} for each of the footnotes in the article. You must be asking about this edit? You added this code: <ref name=Lightfoot/> to the article. That should make a reference to a reference previously defined with the name "Lightfoot". But there's no reference tag with that name defined in the article, and so the article renders without the desired reference and with an error that says the reference isn't defined. My edits fix both of those problems. You can read more about referencing at Help:Reftags.

I find the expanded references much more difficult to edit, so I naturally collapsed them. If you don't like that, feel free to expand them again -- but please do not re-introduce referencing errors to the article because that's objectively a step backward. -- Mikeblas (talk) 16:18, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Artúr Görgei

Hi, thanks for your correction on the Görgei Artúr article. The book in case appeared in 1930 (http://www.bibl.u-szeged.hu/bibl/mil/1848/konyv/p/bibJAT00367101.html). In the sources section was wrongly written 1934 instead of 1930, so the year 1930 in the article is correct. So I corrected the year in the Sorces section from 1934 to 1930.
