Happy First Edit Day!

What?

Can you please tell me where I added that info ? It would be strange for me to add that, as I never use SFNs - or at least as far as i can remember back in time. Chaosdruid (talk) 22:23, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You added an unformatted reference to "Sun and Bookman" in this edit in 2010. Over time, that was carried forward and became a {{sfn}} template, though it was never associated with a complete reference or footnote. -- Mikeblas (talk) 00:11, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That's what was so confusing ... the last of those merge edits on 16 July did not seem to have that in the page. I was just disappointed that my name was used, when in fact it was just a merge from other pages (especially as I never use SFNs lol) Chaosdruid (talk) 22:27, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The version you link includes the text in question: "that hybrid models can better capture the mechanisms of the human mind (Sun and Bookman 1994).", and there is no definition for the "Sun and Bookman" reference. I know it was a long time ago, but maybe you can repair the article if you remember where you merged that text from. -- Mikeblas (talk) 01:43, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Not really, it would have been one of the two or three merged pages - and anyone can easily look up the page merges. I am more interested in why you removed the sfn - what was wrong with it? An SFN does not need a specific page to be an acceptable ref, does it? Template:Sfn Chaosdruid (talk) 18:30, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Your comment says that the content came from "neural networks", but that page also doesn't define the footnote. I removed the {{sfn}} because there's no definition for the footnote and its presence causes an error in rendering the page. The claim is supported by another reference, so the "Sun and Bookman" reference, which sat invalid for more than a decade, was not useful anyway. -- Mikeblas (talk)

Damn-Deal-Done

Your edit to List of songs recorded by the Offspring incorrectly targets my username when you reverted someone's edit. Quote = revert undefined addition by User:Damn-Deal-Done. That edit you undid was not by me, it was by OffsBlink. Pay more attention next time before using someone's name. My edit added many many songs and releases. Look at the names in the difference between revisions page https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_songs_recorded_by_the_Offspring&oldid=prev&diff=1001188162 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Damn-Deal-Done (talkcontribs) 12:27, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summary 18 June 2022: "fix referencing errors introduced by User:Nford24". I don't think I've ever edited that page, certainly doesn't show up when I search the edit history. You may want to double check your accuracy with who you tag in future. Nford24 (PE121 Personnel Request Form) 05:45, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have edited the page twice, actually. You made this change and later this change. Turns out, though, that the referencing error I fixed was introduced by a user with a name similar to yours; User:Wdford made this change (and a few others) which invoked undefined footnote references. Sorry for the mixup, and thanks for reviewing my fix! -- Mikeblas (talk) 13:20, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You have been doing that a lot haven't you? You did it to me when you undid someone else's edit to the List of Songs by the Offspring article. My large edit was valuable and added lots of missing songs and releases. Pay more attention. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_songs_recorded_by_the_Offspring&oldid=prev&diff=1001188162 Damn-Deal-Done (talk) 12:32, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
