Salute

I noticed today that the Franklin High School entry has been changed, and I feel it more accurately reflects the original history of the school and what we original students can remember.

You must realize that most of our parents and the faculty at Franklin, when it started, are no longer with us.

The New Orleans Times-Picayune individual who handles archives and such has informed me that Lex-Nex and other "online" sources do not cover the years of interest for the school's early history. He did provide a few article titles that can be viewed on microfilm.

I shall get with the school's staff and ask them to seek student help to build a complete and accurate history of the school. Seems like a worthwhile class project, and hope to get it rolling. [removed innacurate recollection after I did the math]
