Shared account?

Hello, I noticed that you focus on the Liechtenstein Olympic Committee, and your user name says "LOC", does this indicate that you are a member of the Liechtenstein Olympic Committee or a agent/employee/contractor for it? And are you uniquely one editor, or do multiple people share this account? -- 70.51.46.39 (talk) 05:43, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you are right. I'm currently an employee of the LOC and created this account to change and edit/create some articles about the Olympic Sport in Liechtenstein. Right now, it's only me who uses this account.LOCdobby (talk) 12:20, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, well I'll post some advice from a standard template for you to be aware of then. Also, sharing accounts is not allowed on Wikipedia, so any other people who wish to edit will need to create separate new accounts and not share yours. -- 70.51.46.39 (talk) 06:46, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest information

Information icon Hello, LOCdobby. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. -- 70.51.46.39 (talk) 06:46, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Liechtenstein Olympic Committee

Hi LOCdobby, and welcome to Wikipedia. Just for info, your recent move of the Liechtenstein Olympic Committee article ([1]) was against the process of how move requests should be handled. If you file a request at WP:RM, you are considered an involved party in that discussion, and you should leave it for someone who is uninvolved to close the discussion and move the article if they decide that's the consensus. In this case, the consensus was to move, but it's still best to leave it to someone else. All the best!  — Amakuru (talk) 10:52, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the info! ;) LOCdobby (talk) 12:21, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
