Constituency articles

Hello Dinesh, and thanks for your contributions on Vidham Sabha articles. When you create an article, please make sure it has an introduction - the first paragraph or sentences should not be under a heading. See how Bhandup West (Vidhan Sabha constituency) looks after I changed it. If you have any questions, please ask on my talk page! Cheers, Number 57 21:24, 30 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Badnapur (Vidhan Sabha constituency), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Bhokardan (Vidhan Sabha constituency). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 16:18, 2 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Jalna (Vidhan Sabha constituency)

Hi, I'm TheMagikCow. Dinesh1673, thanks for creating Jalna (Vidhan Sabha constituency)!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please add some more references. However, once that is done, this will be a great article!

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. TheMagikCow (talk) 17:07, 2 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Yeola (Vidhan Sabha constituency), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.mashpedia.com/Nandgaon_(Vidhan_Sabha_constituency).

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

  • Hi Dinesh1673, thanks for your work on these constituency articles. It is perfectly fine to use existing articles as templates as you are doing, but you do need to link back to the article you used, so we can see who made the various edits (attribution). If you do more of these articles this way, just say in the first edit summary something like "Content used from (article name), see that page for attribution". Also, the copyright bot will probably tag those article as it has been doing. If you use a wikipedia article and attribute it like I suggest, then you can remove those tags without having to worry about deleting the article. Thanks, CrowCaw 22:09, 9 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Article titles

Hello Dinesh. A couple of things regarding article titles:

  1. I've noticed that some of your recent articles don't have the correct capitalisation (for instance using (vidhan Sabha constituency) rather than (Vidhan Sabha constituency) - please make sure you create them at the latter title
  2. Some of your more recent ones use the disambiguator (Assembly constituency). I would advise having all of the articles at one title the other, rather than what appears to be a random mix. I'd advise using "Assembly" rather than "Vidhan Sabha", as all the articles on the assemblies are at "Legislative Assembly" (e.g. Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly), plus WP:UE applies.
