I would like to clarify that the "complaints" are coming from one disgruntled user. If this is going to not be a one-sided attack on me as a maintainer, then I think it is only fair to also reference that I responded to this one user's comments and questions many times before resorting to removing his comments. Here are some examples where I gave technical or aesthetic justifications:
The comments I removed were all in later tickets:
I've maintained this project for 6+ years and have never had any issue except with this one individual. The statement as it currently is, does not correctly represent the situation. The truth is that I removed this one users comments because they were not constructive, and I was tired of having to defend aspects of my project because he felt entitled to a technical discussion because he happened to disagree with it. When I pointed out to him that the things he disagreed with were documented and obviously intentional (via git log), he suggested I was trying to justify, post-hoc, bad design decisions, and was being an irresponsible maintainer. How is that constructive? Furthermore, how is this anything more than one disgruntled user's opinion? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.248.188.137 (talk) 21:40, 22 June 2016 (UTC) Here are some comments from other users of the project:
> I follow Peewee for a long time now. I read every bug report, pull request, comment, etc. I never seen Charles react before like he has with you. Charles explained what bothered him with the issues you opened. You might not agree, but you shouldn't ignore that. Here's another user on hackernews: > Peewee [1] is my tool of choice because of its convenience and flexibility combined. I can create pretty complex queries using its Query API, but also execute arbitrary queries when I know I need something a little more nonstandard. Plus the maintainer (Charles Leifer) is an awesome dude who has always been really helpful to his users. And another: > PeeWee and the maintainer Charles Leifer are both very awesome. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.248.188.137 (talk) 21:05, 22 June 2016 (UTC) Welcome to the Hall of Fame!

I used to work with female rally drivers and part of the competition was putting up with other female rally drivers' insults - at least you can let the victims lick their wounds. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Daniel Norton Smith II (talk • contribs) 16:15, 24 June 2016 (UTC) fixing link.Hi I noticed you fixed the second link for the Geoffrey Darby wikipedia, The first link needs fixing, Can you please fix the first link since I do not not how to fix the link. Persian GulfHi Raju, the name of "Persian Gulf" is internatinally and legally recognized by all countries and United Nations (refer to UN website). Reference to any name other than "Persian Gulf" to the body of water is illegal. Wikipedia shall also use the legalized name of "Persian Gulf". Regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.36.212.11 (talk) 05:56, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
I agree with you, that body of water should be called "Persian Gulf", but you're editing the name of a football league, that was named "Arabian Gulf" after a company called "ARABIAN GULF DEVELOPMENT (L.L.C)"[1] for sponsorship reasons, I hope you come to your senses. DudukHow is it not constructive? Rather than just making a change, give a reason. I reverted to the instrument's true name. HyeSK (talk) 19:34, 27 June 2016 (UTC)HyeSK Hi Captain Raju, as you said I accept my mistakes. The problem is Iam new to this, and after doing some mistakes there I couldn't bring it back to normal. I sent copyright verification about book covers for my series (File:THE_TRAVELLER_CHRONICLES_-_cover.pdf and File:Zak_Standridge_-_Traveller_-_Mr_Blue_-_Cover_2ND_EDITION.pdf. Just curious if this copyright release was sufficient as I haven't heard back. I don't want to make anything harder for Wikipedia and I would prefer if my work wasn't deleted. Thank you! ZakStandridge (talk) 21:26, 28 June 2016 (UTC) A barnstar for you!
The Cooper Associates County GroundI wonder if you can help - We, as a business, have the naming rights to The County Ground in Taunton and as such the ground now needs to be referred to as 'The Cooper Associates County Ground'. Did you know?
Since the last newsletter, the VisualEditor team has fixed many bugs. Their workboard is available in Phabricator. Their current priorities are improving support for Arabic and Indic scripts, and adapting the visual editor to the needs of the Wikivoyages and Wikisources. Recent changesThe visual editor is now available to all users at most Wikivoyages. It was also enabled for all contributors at the French Wikinews. The single edit tab feature combines the "Edit" and "Edit source" tabs into a single "Edit" tab. It has been deployed to several Wikipedias, including Hungarian, Polish, English and Japanese Wikipedias, as well as to all Wikivoyages. At these wikis, you can change your settings for this feature in the "Editing" tab of Special:Preferences. The team is now reviewing the feedback and considering ways to improve the design before rolling it out to more people. Future changesThe "Save page" button will say "Publish page". This will affect both the visual and wikitext editing systems. More information is available on Meta. The visual editor will be offered to all editors at the remaining "Phase 6" Wikipedias during the next few months. The developers want to know whether typing in your language feels natural in the visual editor. Please post your comments and the language(s) that you tested at the feedback thread on mediawiki.org. This will affect several languages, including: Arabic, Hindi, Thai, Tamil, Marathi, Malayalam, Urdu, Persian, Bengali, Assamese, Aramaic and others. The team is working with the volunteer developers who power Wikisource to provide the visual editor there, for opt-in testing right now and eventually for all users. (T138966) The team is working on a modern wikitext editor. It will look like the visual editor, and be able to use the citoid service and other modern tools. This new editing system may become available as a Beta Feature on desktop devices around September 2016. You can read about this project in a general status update on the Wikimedia mailing list. Let's work together
