Welcome to editing Wikipedia. But without major exhibitions or awards you need to make more of a case for this artist having an article. We need to meet the notability requirements at Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Creative professionals. It also needs to be in the form of an encyclopedia article. This one reads like an essay or an artist's profile. Leave out things like "Infused with the light of the Southland, Jan Wurm's canvases dipped into a luminous palette." and give us just the facts. Go through her work and development chronologically, with the major reviews as sources. Leave out the quotes. It makes it sound like you are writing an advertising piece.
The criteria are:
Authors, editors, journalists, filmmakers, photographers, artists, architects, and other creative professionals:
  1. The person is regarded as an important figure or is widely cited by peers or successors.
  2. The person is known for originating a significant new concept, theory or technique.
  3. The person has created, or played a major role in co-creating, a significant or well-known work, or collective body of work, that has been the subject of an independent book or feature-length film, or of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews.
  4. The person's work (or works) either (a) has become a significant monument, (b) has been a substantial part of a significant exhibition, (c) has won significant critical attention, or (d) is represented within the permanent collections of several notable galleries or museums.

Managing a conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, Artistsfriend. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Jan Wurm, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);

  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Jooojay (talk) 04:36, 1 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
