Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will try to answer your questions as best as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. Callanecc (talk) 10:52, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! I've noticed that you've been doing some helpful stuff on star-related articles. Have you considered making an account? We'd love to have you! :) Keilana|Parlez ici 04:15, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not really thinking about having an account. Though, I did promise to clean up unclassified stars category at CFD. 70.24.244.198 (talk) 04:17, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever works for you! I'm just happy someone's helping to fix all the crappy astronomy articles. If you need anything, feel free to ask me! Keilana|Parlez ici 04:29, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've been posting what I need help on at WT:AST and WT:ASTRO. 70.24.244.198 (talk) 04:30, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That works too. Happy editing! :) Keilana|Parlez ici 04:43, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Gondola lifts subcategory proposal

Hello, you recently participated in a CFD relating to Gondola lifts in Hong Kong. The close rationale at that discussion suggested there may be consensus to merge each country subcategory into Category:Gondola lifts, however that outcome was outside the scope of that CFD and would require a new discussion. As such, WP:Categories for discussion/Log/2012 April 7#Subcategories of Category:Gondola lifts by country has been created. Since you participated in the previous CFD, you're invited to leave your comments at the new CFD. NULL talk
