1990 iihf women's worlds

It appears that you put the disputed tag on the asian games section (I could be wrong) and it says to look to the talk page, but there is no discussion on it there. I have an internet source that disagrees with the presented information, I wish to change it, but was not sure if it already been discussed.18abruce (talk) 03:34, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry. I speak russian. I don't speak English. See also history of Hockey Asia Cup [1]. The first match of the women's teams in China (1992), South Korea (1999), Hong Kong (2007), India (Association since 1989, April 27) took place later in 1990 [2] -PhoeniX- (talk) 19:32, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Where does the information for the 'Asian Qualification tournament' come from? You gave no source, and the information is rather specific.18abruce (talk) 13:55, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Stephan Müller. International Ice Hockey Encyclopaedia: 1904 - 2005. page 209 -PhoeniX- (talk) 09:40, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Okay good, please leave the 1990 page alone. What your are putting is bad english, and the existing explanation is what the source says, please stop.18abruce (talk) 12:12, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I'm stopped. Where does the information for the 'Asian Qualification tournament 1990' come from? Your's edit NOT explains exactly what that source says. Check source, please. And edit this information -PhoeniX- (talk) 17:14, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  1. First game Indian women's team team plaeyed 22 March 2016 - see India women's national ice hockey team, [3], [4]
  2. First game Hong Kong women's team played 1 December 2007 - see Hong Kong women's national ice hockey team, [5], [6]
  3. First game South Korea women's team played 30 January 1999 - see South Korea women's national ice hockey team,[7], [8]
  4. First game China women's team played 20 April 1992 - see China women's national ice hockey team, [9], [10]
Check the source yourself, you add the same source that indicates the information that I put on the page. Actually read it: "le Japon a remplacé la Chine championne d'Asie qui a décliné l'invitation" read that again, Japan replaced the CHAMPION China. And when you click on "championne d'Asie" it gives you the details (this sub-page). It is also available from their main 'archive' page. The National Teams of Ice Hockey links you supplied are useless, they miss many games, including qualification games for the Olympics, and they contradict what you added for the 1992 page. Should we now erase what you supplied for 1992 as well since what you list above says that China did not play them? Or are you going to supply a link to field hockey again like you did in the previous discussion?
However, I will remove some of the details until I can get confirmation from sporting authorities that passionhockey.com has it right, because India's inclusion in 1989 is doubtful base on the reporting from their play in 2017. Should we remove your addition to 1992 as well, or should we trust that Stephen Muller has it right when no one else confirms it?18abruce (talk) 01:47, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I believe in the old discussion you were trying to explain that the details were actually field hockey. Passionhockey.com has now confirmed this, thank you for you patience. I did not understand what you were trying to do, thank you. I am still puzzled why you did not understand the source, but it was wrong anyway.18abruce (talk) 21:41, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
In the source [11] erroneous data from tournament "Championnats d'Asie 1989". Thank you -PhoeniX- (talk) 16:53, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
