Airacobra Mk 1 AH574

Single example of Bell's tricycle undercarriage equipped Airacobra, which was issued to the Royal Navy for test work. Towards the end of the Second World War, Test pilot Eric Brown used AH574 to carry out the first carrier landing using an aircraft fitted with a tricycle undercarriage.
