Hello, fellows.

I am a Finnish editor and interested in history (military, medieval and early modern), linguistics and botany. I mostly contribute by adding links in articles, writing article descriptions, correcting grammar and adding tidbits of information or searching for sources if they are missing. I also like to check facts and point out unwarranted claims and vandalism. I prefer to work "behind the curtains" and do quick edits that help make articles more understandable or approachable. I do most of these edits on Finnish and English Wikipedia sites, but occasionally on German and Swedish sites as well. I also contribute to image descriptions and occasionally upload images for open use.

I spend quite a lot of time reading Wikipedia and have found it very helpful in expanding my knowledge on different matters. I believe that a dedicated and diverse community of contributors will be able to maintain and develop the quality of Wikipedia.
