Not all edits are paid, though conflicts of interest sometimes arise when I make an edit based on an interesting scientific paper, for example, I read through work. That is, I'm connected to the subject, the author, the publication, etc, but not paid on their behalf. When I am aware of a COI, I flag it and hope to be transparent about the nature of the conflict.

All that aside, I'm fascinated by biotechnology, healthcare and particle physics and tend to spend my time on these pages.
