Requests for page protection
Current requests for increase in protection levelRequest protection of a page, or increasing the protection level
Place requests for new or upgrading pending changes, semi-protection, full protection, move protection, create protection, template editor protection, or upload protection at the BOTTOM of this section. Check the archive of fulfilled and denied requests or, failing that, the page history if you cannot find your request. Only recently answered requests are still listed here.

Before posting, first discuss with the protecting admin at their talk page. Post below only if you receive no reply.
Joseph KallarangattReason: The protection is not needed as the disruptive edits by unnecessarily reverting are done by an extended confirmed user. The disruptive edits(reverting) are [1] [2] [3]. These constant and complete revertings of contributions done by multiple users prevents the improvements done to the page. That particular user is alerted in the talk page of the article and hasn't yet provided evidence to his claims. Not blanket page protection but page protection from this particular user is the one needed. അദ്വൈതൻ (talk) 16:35, 22 June 2024 (UTC)

AutopatrolledUser:Ipscaij
@Ryan shell has suggested me to request autopatrolled rights. I'm often creating simple articles about beetles in English (from the groups I'm personally already familiar with or learning about) and later expanding them if the existing resources allow me to do so. This is to allow other people to find this information and pictures more easily (otherwise it's often scattered on the internet and hard to find). I'm requesting autopatroller rights because I create large batches of articles at once, as Ryan mentioned. I only use reliable sources to provide information for Wikipedia Ipscaij (talk) 09:07, 14 June 2024 (UTC) User:Xegma
Hello there, I have created 30 articles as of now and i am requesting for Autopatrolled right. Xegma(talk) 07:34, 17 June 2024 (UTC) User:C1K98V
Hello, I have created 100+ articles, primarily focused on television series. And I plan to keep doing the same. Thanks for your consideration C1K98V (💬 ✒️ 📂) 08:51, 17 June 2024 (UTC) User:Roastedbeanz1
I have written a total of 48 articles, including 6 in the past 2 days, mainly about hip hop artists. My articles usually have little to no issue. I'm requesting for the autopatrolled right to lighten the amount of unreviewed articles. Roasted; (talk), c. 00:07, 19 June 2023 (CDT) User:RevelationDirect
I have written well over 25 articles and @Aszx5000: suggested on my talk page that upgrading my status might save time for other volunteers here. Some of the better articles I've started this year are Metropolitan Club (San Francisco), YMCA Building (San Diego), and Fort Lauderdale Woman's Club while some of my weaker ones are YWCA Building Complex (Athens, Georgia), Masonic Temple (Lagro, Indiana), and Glacier Park Women's Club. If there are any questions, I'm happy to answer them. Oh, and if it's better for the encyclopedia that I don't gain this status right now, that's totally fine too! - RevelationDirect (talk) 21:10, 19 June 2024 (UTC) User:Chipmunkdavis
A patroller suggested I apply for this following the creation of Asphendou Cave petroglyphs, probably a decent idea as I have a few articles in the pipeline for the Wikipedia:2024 Developing Countries WikiContest and don't want to add to NPP burden. Page mover
User:PadFoot2008
Hello, I'd like to request page mover rights as I often come across articles that do not follow the Wikipedia:Article titles policy and though usually move those articles myself, they sometimes can't be moved due to technical reasons. I have participated in numerous WP:RMs and opened many significant ones, as well as performed many moves myself over the past. Thank you. PadFoot2008 04:07, 16 June 2024 (UTC) User:98Tigerius
Hello, I would like to request a page mover permission to easily draftify page without a redirect of the previous page title and to help out more at RM. I also familiarized myself with the prerequisite required for this permission. 98𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 • [𝚃𝙰𝙻𝙺] 05:11, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
User:Melcous
In patrolling new pages, I have often draftified articles that are not sourced, or have COI issues, as well as moved new articles with incorrectly formatted titles. Having page mover rights would avoid the creation of redirects, and would also give me the opportunity to get involved at Requested Moves. Melcous (talk) 06:16, 17 June 2024 (UTC) User:Saqib
So I plan on using it to address page move vandalism and for other non-controversial tasks such as WP:RM.— Saqib (talk I contribs) 10:38, 18 June 2024 (UTC) User:Wowlastic10
I am enough experienced for this role (as per the terms and conditions) and I will actively contribute to the community. Arigato! Wowlastic10 (talk) 13:57, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
Mass message senderUser:TechnoSquirrel69
Hey there, I'm acting as a coordinator of the 2024 Developing Countries WikiContest until the end of September. The role will entail sending out a handful of updates to at least 40 users over that period. I haven't previously requested a mass message, but I've read through the information page and will follow it in good faith to the best of my ability. Let me know if you have any questions! —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 23:50, 21 June 2024 (UTC)

I am requesting Pending Changes Reviewer rights to assist in maintaining the quality of Wikipedia articles. I have been an active editor for almost 3 years, with over 16,000 edits. My contributions reflect a solid understanding of Wikipedia's content policies, including verifiability, neutrality, and no original research. I regularly engage in discussions to improve articles. I am committed to ensuring that pending changes are reviewed promptly and accurately. M S Hassan (talk) 17:25, 11 June 2024 (UTC) User:Myrealnamm
Hi there! I'm requesting Pending changes reviewer so I can review changes. I have read Wikipedia:Reviewing pending changes and the other pages to read (such as WP:VANDALISM and WP:COPYRIGHT), and I have been fighting vandalism for about 2 months now. Having this user right will help me reduce the number of articles listed at Special:PendingChanges. Myrealnamm (💬pros · ✏️cons) 21:24, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
User:War Term
I hate vandals and I don't take it anywhere on the English Wikipedia. I have reverted multiple vandalism otherwise known as dusruptive editings since I joined Wikipedia. I wish to keep Wikipedia safe and sound for readers by reverting unconstructive edits made by IP editors or registered editors. I have been doing this until today that I found out that I can formally request to join a team of committed group known as "Pending Changes reviewers". I apply for the right because I can do more being a certified editor doing what I know how to do best.Wår (talk) 05:59, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
User:48JCL
I'm a productive user that has warned people in the past for distruptive editing, COI, vandalism and more. I usually try to complete things I start and it is very painful for me to look at Special:PendingChanges having tons of articles. I would definitely try to reduce the backlog. 48JCL 23:45, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
RollbackUser:Carguychris
Rollback rights would make it easier to revert unproductive edits to aviation related pages I watch. Carguychris (talk) 15:53, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
User:TonyBallioni
Can someone grant me rollback when they have the chance? Realized I forgot to ask for it after turning in the tools, and while I'm not around that much, when I am I prefer it to Twinkle. TonyBallioni (talk) 21:12, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
User:Informationageuser
Hello. Requesting rollback rights to more swiftly correct vandalism and other clearly improper edits. I have dealt with a variety of these over time, with demonstrated knowledge of how to warn and/or welcome with specific guidance tailored to the problematic edit in each case. Thank you. - Remove the infringing text or revert the page to a non-copyrighted version if you can.
- The infringing text will remain in the page history for archival reasons unless the copyright holder asks the Wikimedia Foundation to remove it (unless it is tagged for {{copyvio-revdel}}. Please note the reason for removal in the edit summary and at the article's talk page (you may wish to use {{subst:cclean}}). When possible, please identify and alert the contributor of the material to the problem. The templates {{subst:Uw-copyright}} and {{subst:Uw-copyright-new}} may be used for this purpose.
- However, if all revisions have copyright problems, the removal of the copyright problem is contested, or reversion/removal is otherwise complicated:
- Replace the text with one of the following:
{{subst:copyvio|url=insert URL here}}
{{subst:copyvio|identify non-web source here}}
- Go to today's section and add

(This text can be copied from the top of the template after substituting it and the page name and url will be filled for you)* {{subst:article-cv|PageName}} from [insert URL or identify non-web source here] ~~~~
- Advise the contributor of the material at their talk page. The template on the now blanked page supplies a notice you may use for that purpose.
