Length and history verified. Text of the Court's decision makes ALT2 preferred—it's still funny but not misleading, as the article establishes that Two Pesos no longer exists. As for the main hook, I'd take it AGF since the source is not online, but frankly it's rather dull; companies buy other companies all the time for large amounts of money. Thanks for the review! I was just trying to be clever in the original hook -- the premise being that two pesos are worth much less than $22 million. But in general, I agree that there is nothing particularly interesting about one company acquiring another. -- Notecardforfree (talk) 23:03, 11 August 2015 (UTC)

@Notecardforfree: This is entirely up to you, but I think the main hook would be amazing for the April Fools main page, if you're particularly patient. Considering the allowances made for cleverly presented hooks on April Fools, we could even remove the capitals on "Two Pesos" and further confuse things to present a hook such as the below. @BU Rob13: It would be an honor to have this appear for April fools! I am certainly in no rush. I am not familiar with the procedures for April Fools DYK hooks, so please feel free to rephrase the hook, though I think ALT3 is very clever! It looks like the procedure is to leave it in the main queue until it's reviewed, so ALT3 needs to be reviewed with the April Fool's criteria in mind. It's also listed on the April Fool's page now. • I think the original hook is better than alt3, but just needs the "Two Pesos" decapitalized and delinked, as follows:

• @Gatoclass: I'm not a fan of "got". It's a generic word that's horrible at describing anything. How about ALT7 instead? Not striking ALT6 yet, but feel free to do so if you agree with me that this would be better. ~ Rob^Talk 04:52, 17 March 2016 (UTC)
