- Alt 1 Hook is proposed with an img.--Nvvchar. 10:56, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
- Alt 1 Hook ... that in the corn festival held annually at Mitchel during August, corns of USA are decorated with murals made of new corn in 13 different colors on the Corn Palace (pictured) built in Moorish style?
- Alt 2: ... that US corn production (pictured) is ranked first in the world, and 20% of its annual yield is exported? --Rosiestep (talk) 16:12, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
- Approve Alt 2 hook. Hook fact is interesting and the most clearly verifiable of the bunch. Article is long enough and new enough at the time of nomination. The rest of the article seems to be within policy. Image also seems good to go. IronGargoyle (talk) 19:08, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
