Original WrestleDream

The WWF and SWS co-promoted the first WrestleDream in 1991. Khan likely took the name from that event. In either case, the first WrestleDream should be acknowledged and there should be a page for it. Bret Hart wrestled George Takano on that card. Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage also wrestled at that event. https://www.thesmackdownhotel.com/events-results/ppv-special/wwf-sws-wrestle-dream-in-kobe 67.82.240.90 (talk) 02:17, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@67.82.240.90 he might have gotten the name from that old event but we have no way of actually knowing that unless he outright says it. But unless he says he got the name from that old event, it doesn't need acknowledged as there is no relation at all other than the similar name (although that old one put a space while AEW's is one word with a camalcase). – The 2023 WrestleDream was the first WrestleDream event and the 2024 WrestleDream is coming. Therefore, both the name of the WrestleDream and AEW WrestleDream pages must change. Fixer88 (talk) 02:23, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I agree here. Tony Khan even stated that WrestleDream would be an annual PPV event. TPalkovitz (talk) 21:17, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
