1841 House of Representatives
I am uncertain whether William Tripp Jr. or his father William Tripp Sr. was the representative. William Tripp Sr. was living in Harmony as the time, and by 1843 his son was living in Weld, Maine. But it is possible that after law school his son lived at home for awhile before setting up his own household. If someone can find definitive evidence one way or the other, that would be great.
