Several of the references suggest Wiñoy Tripantu, Wüñoy tripantu or Wiñol xipantu more precisely refers to the actual Mapuche celebration that is the focus of this article, whereas we tripantu just means new year, sometimes Jan 1 and sometimes the June solstice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Idsmoend (talk • contribs) 22:41, 23 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
