Why? The cited sentence segment is a fact and verifiable in part at least by Pomus' life of near poverty, despite the number of successful songs he authored or co-authored in the late '50s and early '60. I suggest you also pick up his biography, the title of which is now referenced in the article.

'Appearances in other media' and 'Cover versions' should be merged
There seems to be little distinction between these two categories. The 'cover versions' section includes many 'appearances in other media'. 82.150.96.2 (talk) 11:37, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
