Assessment Report
- Article needs to be massively expanded using Wikipedia:WikiProject UK geography/How to write about settlements as a guide.
- It should contain more information than mainly local and national government election and representation information.
- It should make use of sections, using Wikipedia:WikiProject UK geography/How to write about settlements as a guide.
Infobox to be added (use Template:Infobox UK place.)at some point, I don't know when or by who)- Photos need to be added.
- References and Citations are crucial for wikipedia, and so these must be added as the article is expanded. Make sure that as many as possible are "in-line" citations.(See WP:References, WP:V, and WP:CITE for guidance.)

- Further updates done. Now more detailed and organised. Tag removed, let me know if this is a problem. Mikeroberts 20:52, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
Neutrality
I have removed/changed parts of the article which were clearly biased. Would everone kindly act less childishly when writing something related to their own political views? "Wikipedia is not a soapbox". RJE42 17:25, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

Upton by Chester → Upton-by-Chester – Per the Ordnance Survey. The settlement is simply "Upton" but parish name serves as natural disambiguation. The parish council is called Upton-by-Chester & District Parish Council and the high school is also called Upton-by-Chester High School[1] Crouch, Swale (talk) 21:20, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support - usage seems variable (even the parish council spells it both ways), but the hyphenated version is generally more common, and the official parish name is a good a choice as any. John Womble (talk) 15:34, 3 December 2020 (UTC)----
