battery fire
I think the battery fire in the 80s is pretty notable. Ship was considered in extremis and sever damage requiring a long upkeep was created. I can't find a good unclass source for it though. There was no battery fire. A deformed water deflector plate on the outside of the battery well caused salt water to enter and partly flood the battery compartment which resulted in phosegene gas chemical damage to batteries.
