hummer
So this is not some humvee/hummer derived vehicle? It's suspiciously similar looking; Consider that the G-waggen, Land Rover and Jeep are designed for the same purpose, but look nothing alike; or a Leopard, T-72 and Abrams... 76.66.192.73 (talk) 08:09, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
- All the sources given regard it as a separate vehicle, and not as a derivative of the humvee. The reason for the similar appearance is explained in Janes, and the article includes this information. ≈ Chamal talk ¤ 10:04, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
- Janes, as cited, seems to just say the same as is in the article (which might actually be too similar). Frankly, this smells like a Buran.Psaux (talk) 06:09, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
- Not at all like the Buran. The Vamtac is clearly "inspired" on the Humvee, while the Buran is very different from the Shuttle, just looks similar because it was designed with similar requirements. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.117.150.131 (talk) 05:09, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
