Colours
I'm sorry, but in what universe are the Trent Rockets colours gold and orange?
I can only conclude the person moderating this page hasn't actually seen the shirt they play in.
Representation of historic counties
Have now provided an additional source of the representation of historic counties. All 18 historic counties have a representative Hundred side. In this case Trent Rockets represents Nottinghamshire (where the men's side will play), Derbyshire (where the women's side will play from 2021) and Leicestershire. Please stop removing these. - Obviously these sides are separate from the county sides, however when created each team was to represent certain counties, as shown by the source. Teams were given the option of signing Local Icon players from these counties before the draft, hence the representation. Rugbyfan22 (talk) 19:11, 4 August 2021 (UTC)
- That stance was when the hundred was first propositioned and a stance that has been since moved away from due to overwhelming negative response from the county fans who are not actually represented by a franchise that’s based in cities miles away. The more recent take has been to push that these are brand new franchises that can represent anyone not just limited to certain counties with the intention of bringing a brand new audience for both the mens and women’s game as well as a younger fan base to the general sport of cricket. There is no material available at the minute that states these franchises represent specific counties MiamiCally (talk) 19:38, 4 August 2021 (UTC)
- If you can provide a source for this then I'll accept a change. Perhaps it should be removed from the intro anyway and moved further down the page. I'm just a bit concerned about the Women's sides who are meant to play in these suggested counties, but are because of COVID playing at the main grounds for this season.
