Legal proceedings
Speaking as a lawyer, the summary of the court proceedings is gibberish! The appeal court cannot have upheld "an order Aldington had obtained that made lawyers acting for Tolstoy pro bono parties to the case, and thereby jointly liable with Tolstoy for any costs or damages awarded to Aldington". A lawyer acting pro bono means that they are unpaid. It has nothing to do with liability for costs. A court can order that counsel pay costs jointly and severally with parties, but that has nothing to do with working pro bono. I find it highly unlikely that the lawyers were made liable for damages as well as costs. And a lawyer can never be joined as a party to a case. If they are parties they cannot be lawyers to another party, as that would be a conflict of interest. This article needs to be edited by a lawyer familiar with the actual facts.Royalcourtier (talk) 02:07, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
Winchester
He was Warden (i.e. chairman of governors) of Winchester College (the public school) in the 1980s. We'd need a source though.Paulturtle (talk) 05:45, 18 February 2017 (UTC) Ah, I see it's in there already.Paulturtle (talk) 13:33, 18 February 2017 (UTC)
