I suggest referencing the wikipedia page "Mess Call" in the text: "Louis plays taps, reveille, and mess call..."

This article is no longer semi-protected. Subject to consensus, verifiability, and neutral point-of-view, the OP should be able to make this edit him/herself, pending changes notwithstanding.
