Simmons?

Does anyone know who the "Simmons" refers to on "Depths of Hell"? My guess was that it was credited under "Al Simmons", just because that was the only instance of the name "Simmons" I ever saw in affiliation with Iced Earth. --69.250.39.131 (talk) 00:41, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The whole album is based off of the Spawn mythology, so ofcourse it refers to Albert Simmons.JanderVK (talk) 06:43, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Song summaries

I've removed the song summaries. They bulk the page out massively and don't really feel necessary. Plus, they're simply an editors interpretation of the events. Prophaniti (talk) 21:59, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sound track???

GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (reference section): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
Sometimes focused more on the album cover (see for example the Background section)
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

  • Since the "Background" section mainly informs us about the cover art, I suggest renaming this section and moving it down. I would expect the musical background in this section.
  • That is the only major issue. --Tomcat (7) 13:30, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The "Background" has now been renamed "Cover art" and moved down. That should hopefully take care of the issues.--SilverBullitt (talk) 15:42, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
