The name of the article
Is there a source for the term "provincial corps"? The FDF has not disseminated much material on this topic, and the only publication I'm aware of, [1], uses the term "local defence troops". --MPorciusCato (talk) 18:01, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
Title and text changed, I was unaware of 'official' name for "Maakuntajoukot", and just got creative with translating the name. Ape89 (talk) 10:48, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Territorial forces?
The article has been renamed to "Territorial forces", I would like to see the source for that, FDF's website referred to the new "Paikallisjoukot" as Territorial forces briefly in the subtitles of some YouTube videos, but those subtitles have since been changed & now they are called Local forces: https://maavoimat.fi/en/finnish-army-in-2020, plus Paikallisjoukot and Maakuntajoukot aren't one and the same, the latter is part of the former, that doesn't mean Maakuntajoukot should be called by that name, especially when the name "Territorial Forces" isn't actually an official name for Paikallisjoukot.
