“Anti-terrorism” is NOT part of the Taliban’s ideology

Not only have they committed many terrorist attacks themselves, but they’ve failed to uphold their agreement to not allow terrorism to thrive in Afghanistan. The “anti-terrorism” ideology should either be removed from the Taliban ideology box or it should be labeled as “alleged by the Taliban.” Ipaddressrevealed (talk) 01:52, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct; the source indicates that counter-terrorism promises from Taliban is lip service. I've removed it. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 16:44, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for making the change. Ipaddressrevealed (talk) 01:52, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism by Remsense

This user (possibly a bot) is continuously vandalizing the page with his useless edits filled with typos and bad grammar. Can the admins please look into it and ban it if necessary? @Jpgordon — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rahman1212 (talkcontribs) 23:46, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If we're talking prose, "having close ties to [...] fundamentalism" is clunky at best and a bit bizarre at worst. Every single part of your characterization on the talk page here (including your pronoun use) is either incorrect or unfounded, as far as I can tell. It's possible other people may prefer your version of the lead itself, but that doesn't mean you get to speak to me like this. Remsense 00:09, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I see now. I apologize that I missed your first reply to me on your talk page. What are the grammatical errors you see? Remsense 00:22, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Rahman1212, content disputes are not WP:vandalism. Please dispense with the personal attacks; if you have content issues, feel free to bring them up here. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 16:21, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Rahman1212, do you have an answer to my question? I still prefer my version of the lede, and I wanted to hear your input before I made any additional changes. Remsense 06:55, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Republican insurgency should be under “battles and wars”

There’s still an insurgency campaign by pro-Islamic Republic rebels, but this isn’t included in the “battles and wars” tab. LordOfWalruses (talk) 03:19, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This page claims the Taliban follow the Athari Islamic theology when in reality they follow the Ashari and Maturidi theologies I’d like to correct this mistake 2604:3D09:881:4400:1401:2BC0:67C:8306 (talk) 03:54, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have any reliable sources we may use to verify that the Taliban has Ash'ari or Maturidi theology? Remsense 04:35, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
