His successor in Congress

It seems that his successor in Congress was actually Nydia M. Velazquez who defeated him in the Democratic primary for New York district 12. Is there a way to modify the template at the bottom of the article to reflect the complexity of the re-districting situation?

Stephen Solarz's visit to India

It is written that Stephen Solarz got a standing ovation in Indian parliament, which was accorded to few westerners, such as Bill Clinton and John F. Kennedy. Bill Clinton addressed Indian parliament in March 2000 and got a standing ovation. However did John F. Kennedy visit India anytime? His visit to India was agreed upon but he was assassinated before that could materialize. We need to verify the veracity of this piece of information. 182.74.32.148 (talk) 08:33, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
