The result of the move request was: moved. Explicit agreement that the MARC station is not the primary topic under the implicitly agreed-upon framework that "St." vs. "Saint" is not a sufficient WP:SMALLDETAILS distinction. St. Denis stationSt. Denis station (MARC)Saint-Denis–Porte de Paris (Paris Métro) is a better candidate for WP:PRIMARYTOPIC here. Saint Denis in France is generally more well known than St. Denis, Maryland, which is part of the unincorporated community of Arbutus, Maryland. Further, St. Denis station (MARC) is a request stop which receives 11 passengers on average weekly, while Saint Denis Metro station in Paris is visited by millions of people every year. The move discussion above actually concluded that this article should be called St. Denis station (MARC), but according to the history it looks like a single user moved it again about a month later. I was prompted after noticing Mount Royal Station also seemed inconsistent with WP:PRIMARYTOPIC to check other Maryland station-related article to see if any slipped through the cracks. Most similar examples have been addressed properly as it is considered unfavorable to set a relatively obscure American place as the main topic over a more notable one in a non-English speaking country. Aberdeen station (Maryland) is no longer the main topic for Aberdeen station as Aberdeen, Scotland is far more notable; though a disambiguation is needed due to the existence of an Aberdeen bus station and train station there. Havre de Grace, Maryland is no longer the main topic for Havre de Grace given the notability of its namesake Le Havre (formerly Havre de Grace). MARC is the disambiguating component for most other stations in the system, like Muirkirk station (MARC), and service disambiguators are now in use for most Maryland stations more broadly. Aberdeen station does not follow this because it is served by both Amtrak and MARC. Middle river exports (talk) 04:49, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There are several stations in the French Saint-Denis (see {{Saint-Denis}}) and the Île-de-France tramway Line 1), why single out Saint-Denis–Porte de Paris ? I'd rather have a disambiguation page for Saint-Denis station. Regards, Comte0 (talk) 23:26, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation page sounds better than definitely. I only singled out Saint-Denis--Porte de Paris as it was the only one linked on the St. Denis station article - the fact that there are several similarly named stations which are not even linked to each other should definitely be addressed. --Middle river exports (talk) 01:35, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm happy for it to be a dabpage too. -- Necrothesp (talk) 09:52, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I support the move and the disambiguation page. Regards, Comte0 (talk) 22:16, 7 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
