Mohawk Avenue description NOT accurate, it was not the high school. Sparta was a sending district until the high school was built on West Mountain Road; Sparta students graduated Newton High School. Sorry, nothing I can do. Mohawk Avenue School was the Sparta School through grade 8, then became the Sparta Junior High School through the 1960s-1990s. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.127.178.114 (talk) 14:47, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
Sparta Township now has four schools. Mohawk Avenue was closed in light of the recent budget cuts; K-2 now attends Helen Morgan and 3-5 attends Alpine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.115.69.184 (talk) 02:34, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
