Cleanup

Some discussion about Shutdown valve appeared on:

I tried to clean up Shutdown valve a little, adding links and a See also section per WP:LAYOUT. The article needs more editing, and some sources. See the Globe valve article for a small but better-developed example of an article on a similar topic. To-do:

  1. Add more content.
  2. Divide the article into a distinct lead section and body sections.
  3. Make something coherent out of the trailing incomplete sentence:
    • Rotary control valves, butterfly and ball valves are good example (sic)

I also made Emergency Shutdown Valve and Emergency shutdown valve as redirects to Shutdown valve, as they were mentioned already on the ESV disambiguation page as formerly a red link. --Teratornis 19:17, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
