correct seal?
User Adaruo removed the image of the subject of this article with the message "Removed incorrect state seal." I'm pretty sure it is the correct seal? I invite further explanation of why it is incorrect. In the mean time I will be reverting the change. Jno.skinner (talk) 17:14, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
- Perhaps it is a reference to the image being in full color instead of gold and blue. https://nebraskalegislature.gov/pdf/bluebook/11-19.pdf https://sos.nebraska.gov/state-symbols although, this law (others?) does not specify https://www.netstate.com/states/symb/seals/documents/ne_statute.htm full color renditions seem to be popular on etsy. mountains
Mention that the range depicted is not within the current borders of Nebraska? I only have a dead-link and unauthoritative source: https://redd.it/3qhw64 Arlo James Barnes 05:34, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- You are correct. Officially the mountain range shown is the Rocky Mountains, which are not in Nebraska. (Though they did fall within the previous border of Nebraska territory.) I have added a mention and a source. Jno.skinner (talk) 23:58, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
