Wire wheels: Wire wheels#On motorcycles says only main article: Motorcycle construction#Wheels, but that is not a main article, it is a subsection. Bicycle wheel is a better article, but none of these 3 actually explains how spokes support the wheel pre-stressed w/compression.
Don't merge - I appreciate why people could think they are the same but they are entirely different competitions. The 'Scottish' is about 100 miles a day around Lochaber in Scotland over six days and the 'Scott' is named after Alfred Angas Scott and is an 84 mile observation challenge held in Swaledale, one of the Dales in the Yorkshire Dales National Park - not in Scotland.
