The article does not mention it, and I have not found much on the subject, but I recall a book I read in my youth where a P-47 Thunderbolt had been fitted with a simitar bladed propeller. That was back in the 40's, predating the research mentioned ( circa 1970 ). Does anybody out there have anything on this?
Reads like an ad
