Suggested Change
This is a nice web page! One thing I would change though is that there is a link to an instructions website in the "Combustion" section. This I think should be moved I like to party
British spud guns
As a kid in the 80s, we used to have very simple spud guns that fired pieces of potato using the force of rubber bands or simple spring triggers. These don't seem to be covered in the article at all and are specifically ruled out by the definition given in the lead. --Dweller (talk) 14:56, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

Suggested rename to Potato cannon
The four references given at the top of this article all have titles referring to "Potato cannon", or "cannon". None of them refer to "spud gun". --Dweller (talk) 14:27, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
