Flowers bracteate and usually small, arranged into inflorescences of various forms (except for genus Mayaca, which has solitary terminal flowers - this does not sound like a very easy and clear sentence. TeunSpaans 21:53, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)

This means that
  1. All Poales have bracteate and usually small flowers
  2. All Poales except Mayaca have inflorescences.

Proposed merge from Eriocaulales to Poales
