Wrong Gene?

I am confused, elsewhere it's stated PGM stands for phospoGLUCOSE mutase, and PGAM phosphoglycerate mutase. Indeed, if you look at phosphoglucose mutase, it uses PGM? I'm trying to learn this subject now am confused. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.104.173.62 (talk) 05:11, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

phosphoglyceromutase

is a synonym for the PGM. I think it would useful to list all the synonyms somewhere in the article. --ArazZeynili (talk) 20:44, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Other genes in this "domain"

Unless I'm understanding term wrongly, maybe "function" would be a better word? Each of the genes listed are on different chromosomes.... is there another use for this term in enzymology? doctorwolfie (talk) 17:56, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
