Wait, this ref <ref>{{cite book|last=Berman|first=editors, Kenneth M. Hargreaves, Stephen Cohen ; web editor, Louis H.|title=Cohen's pathways of the pulp|year=2010|publisher=Mosby Elsevier|location=St. Louis, Mo.|isbn=978-0323064897.|edition=10th ed.}}</ref> p.593 states "The parapharyngeal spaces comprise the lateral pharyngeal and retropharyngeal spaces"...so they might not be exactly the same thing. Agreed. Better references should always be a priority. I believe it is the same, but it been some time since I had anatomy of the neck. A simple google search turn up this. It would be nice if you could find a better source. There are a lot of medical dictionaries accessible online. JakobSteenberg (talk) 15:32, 6 April 2013 (UTC)

Thanks. If someone has easy access to a current or recent edition of gray's this matter would be put to rest. I'm creating the missing articles for fascial spaces of the head and neck currently, but also tweaking the ones we have already. Therefore, I'll probably get around to this eventually...
