Why does it say "Optic :D" ? Nevermind, it has been fixed ... ? This happen to anyone else?

User renaming the cranial nerves

User:‎Whoop whoop pull up keeps trying to renumber the cranial nerves, counting from nerve 0, N, or XIII instead of 1 as is conventional. He has cited this paper, which argues for some form of change in notation, but which does not support his edits. I've reverted him enough, and he is way in violation of 3RR on multiple pages. I have to go for now... Dicklyon (talk) 20:24, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How does it not support my edits? It explicitly states that additional cranial nerves exist, which is what my edits have been saying. Chill out, Dickly. Whoop whoop pull up Bitching Betty | Averted crashes 20:28, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
We have no argument about what exists. The argument is what they are called, or how they are numbered, or how we represent that in articles. Dicklyon (talk) 21:02, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I concur with you, Dicklyon. The naming is by convention, not by some exact numbering. User would need to cite a reference stating that the scientific community has decided to completely overhaul the cranial nerve naming system. I'll help with reverting. If this abuse continues, we may need to make a report or get arbrititration or something. Hopefully it doesn't get to that. Attaboy (talk) 22:48, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Structure

The first paragraph has some incorrect information. For example, the fibers of CN I pass through the cribriform plate prior to reaching the olfactory bulb, not after. I will correct and also add my book to references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anatomyczar (talkcontribs) 13:48, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Aslo the second paragraph is not referenced and also has some incorrect information. The cells do not normally regenerate. Only if damaged. Anatomyczar (talk) 14:25, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Function

I would like to delete the functional section. The SVA denotation is very specialized and of little interest to the average person who just wants to learn something about the olfactory nerve. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anatomyczar (talkcontribs) 14:45, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Olfaction and Aging

I have added this section .Anatomyczar (talk) 15:06, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

ensheathing glia

I would like to delete this section. It has no relevance to the nerve itself and further the information here is not true. No human with a totally severed spinal cord has ever been able to walk again. 184.18.198.161 (talk) 14:24, 25 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
