Priorities
May I make a remark about the authorities quoted here?
Reed's exhaustive and scholarly book Crewe to Carlisle is merely "further reading", and apparently not used in generating the article. This is an extradordinary priority. Butt, regarded as unreliable, has so many citations. Wikipedia is a level three source, and so is Awdry. It is better to use other level three sources only in the absence of anything better. And the original Acts are level one, the use of which is deprecated. Afterbrunel (talk) 10:25, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
