This page is incredibly confusing. Many of the district maps in the table for each distict are incorrect. It would seem more prudent to remove those images entirely and just have the map used at the top for the outline of the districts. Updating Needed

To echo the users above, this page has become outdated after the redistricting of 2016. The Elections of 2016 followed the new boundaries, not the ones showed here for each district. If someone knows how to update this, please do so. The first map encompassing the whole state is the correct one, it's the individual district maps that are outdated.

On June 2 2016 the courts upheld the new boundaries.

Further updating required

A new map for the 2020 elections has been put into place, as can be seen in this WFAE article, WFAE being a Charlotte-based radio and news station. These maps are expected to be used in 2020, and so the article and maps, as well as articles about each congressional district, need to be updated, as they have not been updated since 2018. I second this request. Here is a link to the NC House bill (HB 1029 / SL 2019-249) adopting these districts. In the attached documents you will find a map of the districts. Here is a link to the Wake County Superior Court order setting aside an earlier injunction on congressional candidate filing and allowing the maps enacted in SL 2019-249 to go ahead. And here is a link to an article from policy watch summarizing the challenge. With that in mind, I will be adding a row to the table in Historical and present district boundaries to account for the new map which will be used for election year 2020. I will label year as 2019-2021 (since the map was adopted in 2019). If this is not proper format please feel free to correct. Iismitch55 (talk) 04:57, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Upon closer examination, the year column seems to refer to the years served by the elected officials. So, the map adopted in 2019 will be used to elect officials who will serve from 2021-2023.
